Eli brought this picture to me and explained that it is Haiti. The scribbled out "structure" in the center is "a building that is broken with sad people inside." The person was crying, but is now smiling because people are helping him. The circles at the top of the page are coins that Eli donated to help the people in Haiti.
The capacity of children to love, grieve for, pray for, and give to others, opens and softens my heart.

You were so vividly in my dream 2 nights ago. Only you were pregnant. Crazy. It was actually really nice, I was telling someone a short list of the people I like to do things with, and I named you, and suddenly there you were. I miss you guys! Hey, so how are you and what exactly are your plans?
